My name is Dr. Francis Nuwah, originally from Sierra Leone, West Africa. I attended Crimea State Medical University in Crimea Ukraine(now Russia) graduated in 1994 and completed my clinical rotation at Connaught Hospital Freetown, Sierra Leone concentrated in General Surgery. I volunteered and worked for the Sierra Leone Red Society and The International Federation of the International of the Red Cross as Medical Coordinator for disaster preparedness and management.
When the civil war escalated in Sierra Leone, I was evacuated to the United States of America as a refugee. I worked very hard to passed the United State Medical Licensing Examination. I worked at Sibley Memorial Hospital, Washington Hospital Center and George Washington University Hospital. I was an adjunct instructor at University of the District of Columbia, Northern Virginia Community College and Global College of Nursing. I currently working at Stratford University for more than ten years and also earned a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration. I am passionate about teaching and explaining medicine and science at every level.
